moving to Australia in 6wks do have vaccines visa insurance, all have my backpack sitting here looking at me, o) we have accommodation for 2nite thats in Sydney were the plan ends! hope to achieve a job in the first few weeks after we arrived to work on anything not be related to our university MA. As just college fund low Outa OZ 9000 DOLLERS all I have! we would be in Sydney 4 Christmas and start traveling to the East Coast in January, but we hang around DWN move to Sydney or Melbourne 1 a few months? Is it easy to get a job? meet new friends? rental housing, etc. .. appreciate ur help x
I'd like to hang around Sydney for the first few months as the weather and the beaches are much nicer. Plenty of time to Melbourne late. You should not have too much trouble getting a job in the bars as Christmas is a busy time as many places as possible to give staff at this time. Sydney is very friendly and love the people of Ireland. There are many Irish pubs around so it should not be too lonely. I check out backpackers accommodations to be the cheapest. Also check out the hostel in the southern suburb of Cronulla (1 / 2 hour of the city) I've heard is good
