Another question for you warriors ...?
If you are out of Iraq (or even in the jungles of Asia) and have the opportunity to wash for days, How do you use baby wipes against the boys? When my brother returned from hunting trips, it smells and it makes sense, it left a rain-dose of any of the women soldiers do the same? Do not change their underwear often if high or wear, even underwear? I am also sure they do not carry the same material in his toiletries kit as I do in my gym bag, I take it that you cut down the foundations of his backpack, so what is the floor that carries in its Rucks and how of each? and finally (for now) is that women wear BDUs the same as men? I was assigned to a Combat Support Hospital and spent time in the field without showers. This is what I did: I put a bucket Rubbermaid small in my bag and filled with small items that did not displace any space. We slept in tents, tents had for men and tents for women. At night I went to the water buffalo and my bucket filled halfway. I washed my hair first (I had it short) and then entered the store and wash the rest of me with a towel and liquid soap. I was reasonably clean this way. He also wore wipes myself and clean my hands after visiting the latrine. Men and women wear the same BDU's, no difference in design. Always wear underwear, to include bra, panties, socks and shirts. UDB can be used for several days, but I always liked to change my underwear every night after washing. If you wanted to, could have washed my underwear in the bucket after washing and I hung everything out to dry inside the tent. During the day, the sides are raised to store allow air to circulate in inside, so it can dry your clothes the next day. consisted of my toiletries shampoo, liquid soap, antiperspirants, lotions, paste Tooth and toothbrush, sunscreen (if necessary), and a comb / brush. I did not bother with anything else. I had two small green towels, a dry and drying. When I lived in the country, needs to be pretty basic. Everything else is just extra kilos you have to transport and store and not worth it. Less is more small and is better than great. I always carried my field gear issued, but also brought a small red lens flashlight, pocket knife, rope for hanging clothes, pen and pad of paper, and anything else useful I could think of. Sometimes, if I was in the right situation, I would carry a laptop and a small printer, but that could be packed together with the teams that are in my section.
