What batteries should I use to power this bulb / lamp?
Hello, I need a very bright light for off road riding at night (between bars!) There is a torch 600 lumens on ebay, but costs £ 22 for postage alone (Hong Kong) and am currently very broke. But I've found I can buy the bulb in your own http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/solarforce-l6 ... When is the torch which is powered by 2 x 3.7V 2000mAh Li-ion battery. I do take the extra weight of heavy batteries as well have a backpack I can use to spread the load, but what is more expensive than rechargeable battery / batteries I can get what would be adequate to power this bulb? Sorry if these are simple things to you, but i cannot buy this bulb, then blow and know anything at all about electronics! It is necessary that last about 1 hour.
