Going camping in Iceland, how big a backpack I take?!?
will be there for 10 days in summer, but have the same clothes for the winter in the UK, minus a bit. take sleeping bag, Thermarest, sleeping and part of a tent. Also, obviously, the rest of my things-including 1 spare and 1 instructors walking boots any idea of what size bag you need? I am waiting to do laundry once or twice while I am there. thanks =)
Take as little packaging as you can, your package will be very heavy anyway. Try to collect the things you think you need and put them in a bag that has, as you (or the bag filled with a larger bag), and use these measurements to get a bag. I realized that every time you buy a new backpack I have a smaller, and still think they are too heavy when completely filled. If you must bring your winter clothes UK, to see if we can leave them in a hotel or luggage when you go camping. And if you have to walk a lot (real hiking trip) your package has to be much less than when just walking from the bus stop at the campsite to few minutes.
