Do you think this travel sleeping bag is a good size?
I'll travel to Central and South America next year and the need a sleeping bag. I'm looking at booking the Highlander Voyager Ultra Lite sleeping bag. Here are some details about season: 1-2 Extreme Temp: +5 C Comfort Temp: 6 to +15' C Weight: 0.86kg Size: 215 x 70 x 50cm size: 25 x 13cm I have an 55L backpack, do you think this sleeping bag will a good size to carry everywhere?
I found the following review on Amazon: What can you suggest that this bag, though the light is not suitable for outdoor use of nothing but heat. Small and Lite - but a little too small and a little light!, 14 August 2009 by the ash (UK) - I bought this for Glastonbury - I wanted a small sleeping bag that would have the smallest possible space. And I certainly get - the packaged product is very small. However, when you're in the bag and all the zip of his extremely difficult to move - I like to sleep in the "running man" position, which is almost impossible in this case, because it close to both legs that the only viable option is to sleep on their backs. I should note that I am a sturdy 5 feet 9 - on average size. It is also not that great to keep warm - me camping last weekend (August) and, although it was a very cold night, the sleeping bag does not really keep me very warm at all. I realize Lose bulk for warmth, but at this price I was expecting the space age material that keeps me toast. Not so. In all then, well for a festival sleeping bag, but not beyond the ideal summer. And if it is a typical British summer - expect to be cold!
