Asian film that I can not remember the name?

I only remember bits for more information. These were some school children who lived on an island (I think) and are all gathered by some terrorists or bandits and given a backpack each. Each bag had a different weapon and some other bits and had to out to kill each other for some time, because otherwise they would be killed anyway because they had a device installed in them. The last one standing would win his life. I know that sounds like a morbid movie, but I never blink channels one night and caught bits and pieces of it and looked at his name.
