I chopped down a pine tree and got material stone but when i picked it up it didn't count!! Please help! I need to upgrade my house with it but i was wondering if it doesn't count because I'm in the little place where Luke sits all day... Hm... Thanks.

Aha , I wondered the same thing . There isn’t really a reason why lumber and stone don’t go in rucksack , well at least I don’t think so ..
. But ! .. not to worry ! you are still collecting it , if you want to know how how much stone and lumber you have , check your status .
To check your status ( for wii ) hold in the C button until the menu appears , then move from friendship to status and it will show you. I only have it for wii , sorry if that didn’t help , but I also know another way to check.
Run over to dales carpentry and talk to dale , then go into build or remodel ( or whatever it is ) and it should show you how much wood/lumber it takes to build whatever you building and how much wood/lumber you have.

don’t worry, it counts! go to the status section in the pause menu(hold c) and you’ll see how much lumber you have. and it is good cuz it saves your pocket space! yea it’s really simple and another way to tell is when you go to dale’s carpentry, and you want to build buildings… there you go. you should see it.
ok well i was wondering the same thing but when you hold down the c on the nun chuck you go to like this whole new page were it shows your friends status and your tool skill and more. go to status and you will see it does count the lumber ans stone but it doesn’t take up space in your rucksack for your convince.
