Do you have to wrap the rucksacks in anything or check in at an alternative counter?
Has anyone ever flown from Liverpool John Lennon airport checking in large rucksacks to go in the hold?

they will advise you at check in and i never heard of wrapping the rucksacks in anything.just watch your weight with the bag you might be overweight
Unless they’re quite big you can wrap them to a backpack. It’s better rather than check them in as a piece of luggage.
