Tips for traveling with their children, without going Insane

The fact that your family is young, there is no reason to stop traveling. If you're family is anything like mine then we have constantly affecting us, just better planned. First, it took my daughter to Spain in a plane, when she was 11 weeks old and then rent a car and one end of the country to another. Since then, my family has changed, I have acquired step 2 children and my daughter, we continued to travel each year. The year last was Tunisia this year we are taking them camping (and they are all seven).

Families today can still enjoy traveling by car, train or plane to go for family vacation or a weekend at their favorite destinations.

I think that traveling is an essential part of education of any child, but often parents with young children are tempted to postpone it until the children are older. Children can learn a lot while traveling. One thing is for them to study geography, but quite another thing for them to see the actual place they are studying. They learn the different cultures and customs along collect foreign phrases. My children can say basic phrases is about 5 languages now. They make new friends if you are old enough, around the world and can be pals that increases their social skills.

If you can manage to keep their kids occupied you will not have to listen, "Are we there yet" every 10 minutes. It only takes a little planning ahead.

For example, every time we go away I do a package for each child. Whether we are flying or driving yet create a package, are excited when they know there will be a package waiting just before leaving. Things have not seen before, in order to keep their attention. Pick a couple items of months earlier, it need not cost much just something you have not already done to death.

I usually pack a backpack for each of them, then they can take responsibility for their bags. It puts a drink and snacks, a small box, usually use a Tupperware stocked with markers, stickers, paper, a book of crossword puzzles, coloring book and a storybook. Each of our kids have mp3 players (only a cheap one as reflected in sales of around £ 20 each) then load with stories about who have not heard before. This mine keeps you entertained for hours, and also have things to do when you reach your destination.

If we travel by car, we spend time playing verbal games and most of the time I think they are happy with the "flight Entertainment" that talk and play with us provides.

An example of a simple game we play is that we work through the alphabet, someone picks up a letter after each round and one says a word beginning with that letter. Thinking minds can get there and are a lot of fun trying to make others with words and also see the fun and sometimes rude (to push your luck with me) can get a. You can also see how they have evolved. When we started to play this game you use to out with words like cars, toys, games and more tree now things like the atmosphere. The person who can not think of a word for the letter comes with a new letter and back again. There is no point in taking them out of the game if you can not think of a word, then get bored.

If you are traveling by car, plane or train, it is important that you prepare in advance. Something exciting. Show them pictures, brochures or search the Web site. If staying in a hotel. I usually searching the Internet for pool, kids club, bedrooms. I also try to show them around so that when we get there things look familiar.

If they have not blown up and very young then go play the role of the airport and flight. (My daughters school, even made a trip to the airport, came to do there own passport, etc.). Make rows of chairs as a cutting plane to the paper for notes play, and take turns being the passenger and the stewardess.

Use this as an opportunity to warn their children about what to expect, warned that the plane can rock and will have to wear a seat belt when told.

Which travel is the method you are using a pack of small pillow and light blanket for each child and their favorite stuffed toy, doll or stuffed animal to snuggle with at night or at nap time.

If children are going to have to sit for a while let them run around for a while and travel in the last minute. Also, if you're flying let children enjoy the experience of takeoff and landing. I tell them its like going on a trip fairgrounds.

If possible try to separate the children with an adult as when tired can get fractious and discussions can start.

There are plenty of experienced advice parents can share with you about traveling with kids and much depends on the age of children. My father would say the best advice of all is to leave children at home or tie and gag, but think about linking all is lost as a family. It is a break from the normal. One end of the family could end up being an adventure in education.

After all, it tends to be us parents who either make or break a trip. We ignite the enthusiasm (and the treatment make the trip enjoyable for children and ourselves) before starting to travel and keep it alive long after the trip is over. with photos, stories, memories and our children's favorite is magnets refrigerator. We have a holiday all we've been on. It serves as a reminder for the child and they love choosing one each.

Most of us parents are smart enough to know that, because children get bored easily, we must take along things for kids to do and hope who have found some of my tips.
