Can i carry a rucksack on virginatlantic economy flight?

Im going away tommorow, im carry 1 suitcase, i would also like to carry a rucksack , i cannot find anything about this on the site.

is a rucksack classed as hand luggage?

will i be fine, im flying from the uk
im Carrying 1 suitcase

Carry-On Allowance:
All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements:

Economy and Premium Economy passengers are allowed 1 carry-on bag that adheres to the following requirements:

Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage: 22in x 14in x 9in/56cm x 36cm x 23cm (length x width x height)
Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage: 13 lb/6 kg

So long as its not one of those really huge rucksacks, then yes, you can have it in the cabin as your single piece of hand luggage.

You’ll need to check in the suitcase for the hold of the plane.

If you have a syandard rucksack – by most people’s definition of standard – then it’s carry-on.
