advice on rucksacks
Can people recommend good value hotels in Manhattan and must see and do things in New York / surroundings?

With reason to continue with my life after months of stay by booking over my wife left me, I'm packing a backpack and fly to New York - not pre-book hotels for me! I am from 8 days and people would love tips and advice, especially on where to stay (not too expensive, but reasonable quality) and what to see is real? I am also thinking of renting a car and head to New Hampshire for a few days - any tips? Thanks in advance to all!

The Belvedere Hotel. Calle 48, Ave 8. Is across the road on Broadway, if you walk down the road from the hotel you just end up in Times Sqaure, 10 minutes from Central Park. I've been not as often as I was in NY and I love the hotel. It is cheap and excellent for a hotel in NY! Http: / / www.belvederehotelnyc.com/ the Hilton Garden Inn is quite in the same location as the Belvedere, but on the main road. It is also around the same price. Http: / / www.belvederehotelnyc.com/ There is a hostel in Manhattan, not knowing where. But here's the link Online Extra: - http://www.bigapplehostel.com/ Places to see! Where to begin? 1.) Upload or Rockefeller Center or the Empire State! Amazing views! Approx $ 18.00 / $ 20.00 2.) A walk through Central Park / Bike Ride / Horse & Cart ride. 3.) Visiting Ground Zero Museam + Location. (World Trade Center) 4.) Take a trip boat around the Statue of Liberty. It goes right to the statue so you can get good shots and slow, then goes around the sky line NY + in one of the bridges and turns, that prevents you off at the statue, if you want to, then get another boat, but who are trapped on the island for 45 minutes, there is nothing more than not (well if the cold & wet) otherwise get the boat going around the statue. 5.) Visit Times Square on the day + night 6.) Go to see a Broadway show (maybe) 7.) Shopping! 8.) Museams? Lots in Central Park. 9.) Take the 'Hop On Hop Off Bus''What about the night tour that goes on the Manhattan Bridge to Brooklyn and you can see the sunset over the horizon-amazing! You can also just jump on the bus at any place and go through the city (two buses top + bottom NY) is a good ticket is valid for 48 hours costs about $ 48.00 but that, s worth it for the first time in New York. It is gray line tour bus in Times Sqaure and you can get free maps, brochures and have brochers monthly what is happening in the city this month, and other small pieces of there. Good luck with everything and I hope you have a good trip!
